About I.STEM Lab
We are an applied AI and geospatial engineering studio. Our job is simple: help organizations get real, lasting value from AI.

Who we are
I.STEM Lab began as a team of young geospatial engineers who saw how much value was locked inside satellite imagery and location data. Today we combine that geospatial depth with modern AI: RAG systems, autonomous agents, 3D and VR, and the strategy and training organizations need to adopt them. Our team is based in Nepal and works with clients around the world.
Who we work with
Businesses, universities, research institutes, NGOs and government agencies, from early-stage founders in our incubation program to established organizations building their AI roadmap.
Our mission
Make advanced AI and geospatial technology practical, affordable and useful, especially for the communities and organizations that need it most.
How we work
- Outcomes over output. We agree on what success means before we build.
- Evidence first. Prototypes and evaluation prove an approach before you invest more.
- Built to last. Documented, maintainable systems and trained teams, not black boxes.
Geospatial + AI depth
Our team are geospatial engineers first, so we understand location data, not just models.
Strategy to deployment
One partner from AI roadmap to production system and staff training, with no hand-off gaps.
A dedicated team in Nepal
Skilled engineers and researchers who deliver great value and scale with your project.

FAQ
Questions, answered
Can't find what you are looking for? We are happy to talk it through.
Ask us directly01What does I.STEM Lab do?
I.STEM Lab is an applied AI and geospatial engineering studio. We build GeoAI solutions, RAG and autonomous agent systems, and 3D, VR and mixed reality experiences, and we help organizations adopt AI through strategy development, training and business incubation.
02What services does I.STEM Lab offer?
Five services: GEO-AI; AI Strategy Development and Training; Data Systems and AI Systems (including RAG and autonomous agents); 3D, VR and Mixed Reality; and Business Incubation.
03What is GeoAI?
GeoAI is the use of artificial intelligence on geospatial data such as satellite imagery, maps and sensor data to detect patterns, predict outcomes and support decisions about places.
04What is AI strategy development?
AI strategy development identifies where AI creates value for an organization and embeds it as a tool within the organizational strategy, supported by a roadmap, governance and staff training.
05Does I.STEM Lab provide AI training?
Yes. We run role-based AI training for leaders and teams so they can use AI tools confidently and responsibly. Training can be delivered on its own or as part of an AI strategy engagement.
06What is RAG (retrieval-augmented generation)?
RAG is an AI technique that retrieves relevant information from your own documents or databases and passes it to a language model, so answers are grounded in your data and can cite their sources.
07What are autonomous AI agents?
Autonomous AI agents are AI systems that plan and carry out multi-step tasks using tools and data, such as researching, drafting, updating records or triaging requests, with human review where it matters.
08How does a project with I.STEM Lab start?
With a short discovery call. We learn your goals and constraints, then propose a scoped first phase, usually a proof of concept, so you can see value before committing to a larger build.
09Where is I.STEM Lab based?
The I.STEM Lab team is based in Nepal, and we work with clients remotely worldwide.
